Last summer saw over 2000 young people and their families and friends participating in workshops and watching performances. This year we are planning another youth arts festival – bigger and better. The festival will run from Monday 14 July to Saturday 9 August and will offer workshops in dj skills, rock masterclasses, photography, drama, Bollywood and Chinese dance, film making, street dance, creative writing, mask making, singing, drumming and industry-related arts.
There will also be showcase and performance opportunities for dj-ing, drama groups, rock groups, dance groups, an It factor singing competition and a final gala night at the Plowright theatre which will draw together work from the final week of workshops into a final performance. Interested in getting involved – call Gill Vickers on 01724 297271 or email gill.Vickers@northlincs.gov.uk
